Emraan Hashmi has hinted that Awarapan 3 is coming soon. Speaking at a special Mumbai screening of Awarapan 2 on Friday, the actor told fans the film belonged more to them than the makers. NDTV reports he said, “Hopefully, Awarapan 3 very soon.” The sequel has drawn strong audience response, and 123telugu.com noted the actor's remark went viral on social media. Awarapan 2, directed by Nitin Kakkar and produced by Vishesh Films, has earned Rs 73.84 crore gross worldwide in two days, according to Koimoi. The figure includes Rs 67.84 crore from India and Rs 6 crore from overseas. The film has already surpassed The Kerala Story 2 and needs less than Rs 15 crore to enter Bollywood's top 10 grossers of 2026. 123telugu.com reports it is expected to touch Rs 80 crore on Sunday. The sequel sees Hashmi reprise his role as Shivam Pandit, drawn into a mission involving human trafficking. Disha Patani, Shabana Azmi, and Suvinder Vicky also feature. The original 2007 film had developed cult status over the years, and the sequel has now ended a 10-year dry spell for the actor at the box office.
