Forty-two claims worth Rs 14,32,574 have been processed in Leh since the initiative started. Earlier, all Ladakh-related EPFO work was handled from the Jammu regional office, 650 km away, forcing subscribers to travel for claim resolution. Ajay K Mehra, Additional Central Provident Fund Commissioner, said the shift improves efficiency and supports the Centre's employment schemes in the region.
