# Escorts Kubota sees tractor growth easing, plans Q2 price hike

Escorts Kubota expects tractor industry growth to moderate in the rest of FY27 after a strong start. The company plans a price hike in Q2 to offset commodity inflation, while its ₹4,500 crore Uttar Pradesh plant groundbreaking is set for August. Tractor retail sales in July rose 28% year-on-year to 1,17,349 units, a record for the month, according to FADA data.
