# Farhan Akhtar to present vampire thriller Half in North India

Farhan Akhtar will present Half under Excel Entertainment and distribute the vampire thriller in North India with Ritesh Sidhwani and AA Films, Cinema Express reports. The film will have its world premiere in September at the Midnight Madness section of the Toronto International Film Festival. Directed by Golam-fame Samjad, Half is written by Samjad and Praveen Viswanath. Ranjith Sajeev and Aiswarya Raj play half-blooded vampires, with Amala Paul and Abbas also in the cast. Ranjith’s parents, Anne and Sajeev, are producing the film through Fragrant Nature Film Creations. Midhun Mukundan is composing the music, while Pappinu handles cinematography.
