Police suspect Sudesh mixed poison in milk, gave it to her children, then drowned them in the tank before consuming poison herself and jumping in. A video she allegedly recorded before death has surfaced accusing her husband of harassment. Her brother Praveen told police Sudesh was under mental distress due to her husband Sandeep Machra's alleged drug addiction and harassment. Police arrested Sandeep under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita. Sandeep was not home at the time; he had gone to distribute water at the railway station.
