# First song from Mohanlal’s Athimanoharam released 2026-11-01T14:01:09+00:00 | Entertainment | Indian Opinion Desk Corroboration: 2 independent outlets The first song from Mohanlal's upcoming film 'Athimanoharam', titled 'Sundara Ravanan', has been released. Sung by MG Sreekumar with lyrics by BK Harinarayanan and music by Jakes Bejoy, the devotional-tinged track offers glimpses of Mohanlal's character Loulajan, a police sub-inspector, and Meera Jasmine's character in lighter moments. Directed by Tharun Moorthy, the film reunites the team behind 2025's blockbuster 'Thudarum'. Shot across Thodupuzha, Kochi, Sabarimala, Hyderabad and Mumbai, 'Athimanoharam' is described as a blend of police procedural and family drama. The film is scheduled for a theatrical release on 24 December 2026. ## Indian Opinion Analysis Both outlets report the song release as a neutral event. Cinema Express emphasises the song's devotional touch and MG Sreekumar's long association with Mohanlal, while Onmanorama foregrounds the shooting locations and the on-screen chemistry between the lead pair. Neither outlet adopts a critical or political framing, as the story is purely about a film promotion. The coverage is uniform straight reporting. The concrete next step is the 24 December theatrical release. ## Coverage Coverage: 2 sources, 2 neutral - cinemaexpress.com (neutral report) Straightforward song release report with career context - onmanorama.com (neutral report) Plain announcement with production and cast details This brief was synthesised by AI from the 2 sources linked above, so one read covers every framing they carry.
