# FirstCry Q1 loss narrows 35% to Rs 44 cr, revenue up 13%

FirstCry's net loss narrowed 35% year-on-year to Rs 44 crore in the June quarter, from Rs 66.5 crore in the same period last year. Sequentially, the loss declined about 9% from Rs 48.2 crore. Operating revenue rose 13% YoY to Rs 2,106.2 crore, though it dipped 3% from the previous quarter's Rs 2,162.7 crore. Total income, including other income of Rs 48.9 crore, stood at Rs 2,153.1 crore. Total expenses, excluding depreciation and amortisation, increased 12% YoY to Rs 2,046.6 crore.
