# Fog strands two teen trekkers on Prabalgad, villagers aid rescue

A sudden fog bank left two 17-year-old trekkers stranded on Machi Prabalgad on Saturday. Gauri Ganesh Chandanshive from Mira Road and Utkarsh Bipin Singh from Kalyan Road lost their way as visibility dropped. They called the 112 emergency helpline and shared their location. Panvel Taluka police launched a search with local residents Navnath Pardhi and Harishchandra Pardhi, whose knowledge of the terrain guided the team. Volunteers from Nisarg Mitra and Help Foundation joined. The teenagers were brought down safely and handed over to a relative.
