Shameem Parra in a bribery trap case. The court sentenced each to four years’ simple imprisonment and a fine of Rs 10,000 on each count, with the sentences running concurrently. The case, registered as FIR No. 02/2014 by the then Vigilance Organisation of Kashmir, involved the demand and acceptance of illegal gratification while processing a contractor’s bill.
