On July 31, volunteers sent about 700 bundles of seedlings from villages in Tingkhong to farmers in Sivasagar, Charaideo and other affected areas. Separately, nearly 200 former ULFA members sowed 12 indigenous paddy varieties across 35 bighas at Deohal Tea Estate in Dibrugarh.
