Complainant Vinay, a resident of J.P. Nagar, was returning home at around 10 p.m. on August 2 when the couple waved him down near the Manipal Hospital junction on the Mysuru-Bengaluru highway, asking for a ride to the Sathagalli traffic signal. When Vinay stopped near Narayana Multispeciality Hospital, four others on two motorcycles joined the couple inside the car. The group allegedly threatened Vinay and snatched his gold chain, mobile phone, and purse before fleeing. Police arrested Syed Sageer, 35, Muskan alias Naghma Banu, 24, Suheb Pasha, 26, and Syed Salman, 30.
