Police detained Salman and Raees, then used a JCB to demolish the shop's tin shed and counter. In a separate raid near the bakery area, two others were held. Authorities have banned the sale of meat, chicken, and fish along Kanwar routes during the Sawan month and are conducting heightened surveillance. The Municipal Corporation of Delhi has also ordered a crackdown on unlicensed meat shops along Kanwar routes and near 308 Kanwar camps.
