They smashed display cases and emptied trays into plastic bags within 30 to 45 seconds, taking the entire inventory, owner Sonu Chauhan told local channels. The store is in a cluster of Indian jewellery outlets that have been repeatedly targeted. Virani Jewellers on the same street faced a similar heist in June last year and in 2022. Co-owner Sushmita Chauhan urged the town to put preventive measures in place.
