# Fourth leopard trapped in Dudhwa buffer zone after attacks

Forest officials in Uttar Pradesh's Dudhwa buffer zone captured a leopard in the Belrayan range on Sunday night, the fourth big cat trapped in the area since August 2. The animal was caught in a cage near Murtiha village, following recent attacks on villagers. Belrayan forest range officer Bhupendra Singh told PTI the leopard was moved to range headquarters for a medical check-up. Officials have set up cages at sensitive spots and are patrolling the area to track big cat movements.
