Aban and his friend Sonu died on Thursday when their SUV crashed into a road divider on the Kanpur-Jhansi highway in Uttar Pradesh. Aban was travelling to Jhansi jail to meet his brothers when the accident occurred around 10.30 am. A friend who survived, Mohammad Umar, told PTI the car was speeding and the driver lost control. Police are examining CCTV footage. The court barred Umar and Ali from speaking to the media or any public gathering.
