HRD and IT Minister Nara Lokesh inaugurated the centre, which will work on artificial intelligence, hybrid cloud, software engineering, data and analytics, cybersecurity and enterprise transformation. It will also provide cloud transformation, platform engineering, service integration, quality engineering and user experience services. Lokesh said the centre would strengthen Visakhapatnam’s technology sector and create opportunities for skilled professionals. IBM executives said the city’s talent, educational institutions and technology ecosystem would support global projects. IBM Consulting now has FutureNow Centres in 15 Indian locations.
