The NSS Kottarakkara taluk union has passed a resolution condemning former Kerala minister K B Ganesh Kumar over his public criticism of the organisation and general secretary G Sukumaran Nair. It demanded his resignation and said all 150 karayogams in the taluk backed the leadership. The unit also defended Kumar’s removal from NSS positions and the takeover of the Pathanapuram union. The Mathrubhumi report said the resolution accused Kumar of acting against Hindu customs and linked his Pathanapuram defeat to those alleged actions.
