# Gauahar Khan discusses Zaid Darbar’s underarm habit on TV show 2026-08-20T07:18:11+00:00 | Entertainment | Indian Opinion Desk Corroboration: 2 independent outlets Gauahar Khan said on the show Double Date that her husband, Zaid Darbar, likes touching and smelling her underarms because he believes they always smell fresh. She also said he tells his sister about the smell. The exchange between Gauahar, Zaid, Neha Dhupia and Angad Bedi left the hosts laughing, Hindustan Times reports. The couple began dating during the 2020 lockdown after Zaid contacted Gauahar on Instagram. They got engaged in November 2020 and married on December 25 that year. They have two sons, Zehaan and Farwaan. Gauahar is awaiting the release of Ikroop on ZEE5, while Zaid was last seen in Alliance. ## Indian Opinion Analysis Both reports frame the disclosure as entertainment, but DNA leads with the more provocative term “fetish”, while Hindustan Times gives the television exchange and relationship background. The available DNA material is limited to its headline and access notice, so it does not provide the fuller context carried by the second report. Hindustan Times also extends the story with family and career details that are not needed to understand the disclosure. The measured reading is that Gauahar described a personal habit during a light-hearted TV conversation, rather than a broader public issue. The next concrete point is the pending release date of Ikroop on ZEE5, which has not yet been announced. ## Coverage Coverage: 2 sources, 2 sensationalist - dnaindia.com (sensationalist) Leads with the provocative term u201cfetishu201d in the headline - hindustantimes.com (sensationalist) Frames a personal anecdote through amusing and unusual language This story was synthesised by AI from the 2 sources linked above.
