# Gaurav Khanna exits Khatron Ke Khiladi 15 after elbow injury 2026-08-24T09:54:10+00:00 | Entertainment | Indian Opinion Desk Corroboration: 1 independent outlet (2 source reports) Television actor Gaurav Khanna has been eliminated from Rohit Shetty's stunt reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi 15 after injuring his elbow during an elimination task. The stunt required contestants to jump between narrow rotating bridges placed high above water without safety harnesses. Khanna fell into the water and aggravated a pre-existing tennis elbow injury while trying to climb back up the ladder, leaving him unable to continue. Host Rohit Shetty confirmed the injury. Khanna got emotional saying goodbye and named Farrhana Bhatt, Harsh Gujral and Orry as the contestants he bonded with most. The actor is set to return to fiction with a Star Plus show and a romance family drama with Shraddha Arya for producer Ekta Kapoor. Khatron Ke Khiladi 15 airs weekends on Colors TV. ## Indian Opinion Analysis Both stories present a neutral-report factual account of the elimination. The first leads with the injury and details of the stunt, the second leads with Rohit Shetty scolding other contestants, using the elimination as a secondary detail. Neither source criticises the show's safety or the injury. The coverage treats the incident as a routine game-show exit. The focus now shifts to whether Gaurav Khanna's upcoming fiction projects will gain audience attention. ## Coverage Coverage: 2 sources, 2 neutral - hindustantimes.com (neutral report) Led with injury details and production defence, no slant - hindustantimes.com (2) (neutral report) Framed elimination as secondary to Rohit Shetty scolding This brief was synthesised by AI from the 2 sources linked above, so one read covers every framing they carry.
