# Gill hints Prasidh Krishna will open bowling in Galle Test

India captain Shubman Gill has tipped Prasidh Krishna to partner Mohammed Siraj with the new ball in the first Test against Sri Lanka at Galle starting Saturday. Gill called the choice between Prasidh and rookie Gurnoor Brar a “tough call” but noted Prasidh’s recent form in the warm-up match. Prasidh has played seven Tests and taken 25 wickets, while the 6-foot-5 Brar is yet to debut. Auqib Nabi is not in contention.
