# Global fintech funding jumps 39% to $6.29B in July; India falls 87%

Global fintech companies raised $6.29 billion across 124 deals in July 2026, a 39% increase from June’s $4.52 billion, according to data collated by 1Lattice. Ant International led with a $1.2 billion round backed by Ant Group and Alibaba, followed by Elevate ($655 million) and Forward Financing ($525 million). In contrast, Indian fintechs raised $124.4 million across just eight deals, down from $935.5 million in June, when CRED’s $900 million mega round skewed the numbers. The three largest Indian deals, Veriqus ($40.1 million), BusinessNext ($40 million) and Neo Group ($36.3 million), made up nearly 94% of the month’s total.
