Godrej Consumer Products (GCPL) reported an 11.5% year-on-year rise in consolidated net profit to Rs 504.52 crore for the June quarter of FY27. Total revenue jumped 18.31% to Rs 4,225.47 crore, driven by underlying volume growth of 9% and a strong performance in Africa, where revenue surged 47% to Rs 1,006.13 crore. The FMCG firm's home care segment grew 12% and personal care 11% in India, while Indonesia returned to stable growth with 10% volume growth. Managing Director Sudhir Sitapati cited elevated input costs and geopolitical volatility as challenges. Shares closed at Rs 1,041.30 on BSE, down 3.63%.
