Gokaldas Exports reported a 7% year-on-year rise in net profit to Rs 44 crore for Q1 of FY26, The Hindu reports. Total income grew 21% to Rs 1,180 crore, boosted by a 45% surge in its Africa business after the AGOA trade pact renewal. Domestic operations rose 16% despite a 12% fall in Indian apparel exports overall. EBITDA climbed 17% but margins stayed flat as higher wages offset productivity gains.
