# Golmaal 5 Makers Reject Reports of December Release

The makers of Golmaal 5 have rejected social media reports that the film will release in December this year, calling them “completely false and baseless”. A spokesperson for Rohit Shetty Picturez said the team is focused on making the film and will share its release date through official announcements only. Rohit Shetty and Ajay Devgn are returning for the fifth film, with Arshad Warsi, Shreyas Talpade, Kunal Kemmu, Tusshar Kapoor and Sharman Joshi also part of the cast. Akshay Kumar is the new addition. The franchise began with Golmaal: Fun Unlimited in 2006 and includes three sequels, the latest released in 2017.
