Google CEO Sundar Pichai announced major changes to the company's artificial intelligence leadership. DeepMind co-founder Demis Hassabis will become Chair of Google DeepMind and Chief Scientist of Alphabet, stepping back from day-to-day operations to focus on artificial general intelligence.
