The Vidyagiri Police have launched an investigation, Deccan Herald reports. Shortly after the complaint was lodged, Joshi filed a counter-complaint at Keshwapur Police Station. He alleges that Kulkarni threatened to tarnish his reputation unless he paid her money, and claims she repeatedly called him demanding payment.
