# Govt to review Meta on deepfakes, HC queries copyright tool

India's IT Ministry will meet Meta later this week to review action taken against deepfakes, child sexual abuse material, and unlabelled AI content. Times Now reports that the government has questioned Meta for three days, including intense sessions with IT Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw. Meta admitted serious issues and outlined plans to fix them. Separately, the Delhi High Court on Wednesday asked Meta to explain who gets access to its copyright management tool. Hindustan Times reports that content creator Mohit Kumar told the court his copyrighted videos were stolen and claimed by others using the tool, while Meta denied him access. The court remarked that giving the tool to abusers but not owners is like giving the key to the robber.
