# GTA 6 Extended Look to debut on Netflix at 12:30 am IST on August 28 2026-08-26T11:27:23+00:00 | Technology | Indian Opinion Desk Corroboration: 2 independent outlets Grand Theft Auto 6: An Extended Look will premiere on Netflix in India at 12:30 am IST on Friday, August 28, followed by a YouTube release at 6:30 am IST. Rockstar Games is expected to show more of protagonists Jason and Lucia, gameplay mechanics, and the open world. The extended look arrives after a series of alleged gameplay leaks that Rockstar and Take-Two have called 'stolen' and are pursuing legally. Rumours suggest the showcase may run nearly one hour across three episodes, possibly including a mission glimpse, according to Times Now. Livemint reports that Rockstar has not yet released the eagerly awaited third trailer and that this extended look could be more important than another short cinematic trailer. The game is set for release on November 19 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. ## Indian Opinion Analysis Both sources frame the extended look as a response to recent leaks, but Livemint focuses on logistics and the marketing opportunity for Rockstar, while Times Now quotes Rockstar's emotional statement calling the leaks 'heartbreaking'. The Times Now piece leads with the leaker's name (CyberLeek) and drama, adding a sensationalist edge. The balanced reading: the extended look is a controlled counterpunch to unauthorised footage, and its length and content will test whether Rockstar can regain narrative control. The game's November 19 release is the deadline.
