# Gujarat High Court starts study circle for young advocates

The Gujarat High Court and Gujarat State Judicial Academy have launched a fortnightly study circle for advocates with up to 10 years of practice before the High Court. Chief Justice Sunita Agarwal announced the programme after Saturday’s flag-hoisting ceremony in Ahmedabad. The first modules will cover writ jurisdiction under Article 226, administrative law, second appeals under Section 100 of the Code of Civil Procedure, and criminal jurisdiction under Section 482 of the CrPC and Section 528 of the BNSS. Senior advocates and subject experts will lead the sessions at the judicial academy. Registration will open on the GSJA website, with each programme costing Rs 100.
