Cinema Express reports that GV Prakash has replaced YouTuber Bhaarath as the lead actor of the upcoming Tamil film Ninja. The actor and composer announced the change on Friday, sharing a new poster featuring a dog. He has passed the music composer role to Sean Roldan. The film's shooting began on Monday, August 24, with a pooja ceremony. Prathana Nathan is confirmed as the female lead, and the cast includes Jenson Diwakar, Radha Ravi, Dheepa Ramanujam, Kalyani Natarajan, and Devadarshini. Murugu directs Ninja, produced by Soldiers Factory and Learn and Teach Productions. The technical team includes cinematographer Harish Kannan, editor Ganesh Siva, and art director A Gopi Anand. More details on the film's genre and plot are awaited. GV Prakash, last seen in Happy Raj, has Immortal releasing on September 4, along with several upcoming projects as both actor and composer.

## Indian Opinion Analysis

Both articles from Cinema Express report the same casting change for Ninja, GV Prakash stepping in as lead and Sean Roldan as music composer, as a neutral industry update. One piece leads with the replacement itself and adds the new poster, while the other leads with the film's launch ceremony a day later and confirms Prathana Nathan as female lead, clarifying a detail left uncertain in the earlier report. Neither article carries any pro-government or critical political stance, this is straight trade reporting. The measured takeaway: the film is now in active production with a clear core cast. The key number to watch is the August 24 start date of shooting.
