# Hyderabad food safety crackdown hits street food and restaurants

Hyderabad food safety teams have cracked down on unhygienic street food manufacturing and restaurant kitchens across the city. The H-FAST task force and GHMC officials destroyed 25 kg of ready-to-eat food including samosas and golgappe at units in Attapur and Jalpally, finding no licences and substandard raw materials. In separate raids, Cyberabad and Malkajgiri corporation inspectors found stale chicken and mutton, rat droppings, fungal growth on drinks, and greasy exhausts at eateries including Landmaark restaurant and Biottic Foods. Notices have been served for the violations.
