The Bhakra Beas Management Board says the water level is well within the maximum filling limit of 1,680 feet. The dam's inflow is 41,000 cusecs against an outflow of 25,000 cusecs. Pong Dam reservoir has also risen, to 1,348 feet. BBMB chairman Manoj Tripathi said the situation resembles the comfortable 2024 monsoon.
