He met Union minister Manohar Lal Khattar in New Delhi on Friday and pitched for a new city on the Chandigarh-Panchkula border modelled on Chandigarh. Singh also sought speedy clearance of projects worth ₹1,200 crore submitted under the urban challenge fund and release of the remaining ₹64.45 crore under AMRUT. He urged early processing of final detailed project reports for street food hubs in Nadaun, Manali, Dalhousie and Rampur.
