# Hitachi Energy India shares jump 11% on Q1 profit surge

Shares of Hitachi Energy India surged over 11% on Monday after the company reported a more than twofold jump in net profit for the June quarter of FY27. Consolidated net profit rose to Rs 294 crore from Rs 131.6 crore a year ago, while revenue from operations climbed to Rs 2,493.7 crore from Rs 1,478.9 crore, according to a company statement. Operational EBITDA stood at Rs 399.9 crore, translating to a 16% margin. The company reported order inflows of Rs 5,096.5 crore during the quarter, taking its order backlog to a record Rs 32,222.1 crore. Managing Director N Venu attributed the performance to robust demand driven by energy transition and security opportunities across India and global markets.
