# Hoax bomb threats target Delhi HC, airport, offices ahead of I-Day

Multiple hoax bomb threats were sent to the Delhi High Court, Indira Gandhi International Airport Terminal 3, and three government offices via email on Friday, a day before Independence Day. The Times of India reports that the Delhi HC email warned of explosions at 2:11pm and at district courts an hour later, and also mentioned the Red Fort. All threats were declared hoaxes after searches by bomb disposal squads and Delhi Fire Services. The source of the emails is under investigation. Security across Delhi remains heightened. The threats follow similar hoax bomb emails to Delhi schools on August 3 and to the Gurugram Deputy Commissioner’s office and courts on July 31.
