A 25-year-old police constable was found dead in the restroom of the LB Nagar ACP office in Hyderabad early Wednesday. Police say it appears to be suicide, but his family alleges murder by senior officials, citing bloodstains and non-functional CCTV. The constable, J Sai Kumar, left two letters expressing dissatisfaction with his current posting. His father claimed the body was moved without consent and that his son had complained of torture.
