# Hyderabad food safety drive finds pests, dirty kitchens, one star eatery

Cyberabad Municipal Corporation inspectors flagged three Hyderabad eateries for hygiene violations this week, while one restaurant scored a near-perfect 93 percent, the Deccan Chronicle reports. Wacky Wok Cloud Kitchen in Kondapur scored 61 percent after officials found a pest-infested freezer, spoiled vegetables and synthetic food colours. Ideal Kitchen in Beeramguda scored 63 percent, with semi-prepared batters stored next to a broom and missing medical and pest control records. Babai Hotel in Madinaguda got 71 percent, with unlabelled food, greasy exhausts and broken flooring. Palle Vindhu in Hitech City scored 102 out of 110. Officials noted only minor issues: an uneven wash-area surface and need for a drain mesh. The restaurant maintained medical certificates, pest control records and FOSTAC-certified supervisors. No synthetic colours or Ajinomoto were found. The three violators were issued notices to fix deficiencies.
