# KBR Park one-way traffic from Aug 18 for 1.5 years

Hyderabad: A one-way traffic system around Kasu Brahmananda Reddy National Park (KBR Park) takes effect from August 18 and will remain in force for 1.5 years, the Hyderabad Traffic Police announced. The measure is to facilitate construction of seven flyovers and underpasses under the H-CITI project. Joint Commissioner D Joel Davis said about 110 more pillars and underpasses are yet to be built, reducing carriageway width by 30-40 per cent at several spots. The police held talks with KBR Park walkers on August 14 to explain the new routes. Direct right turns at NTR Bhavan and from Road No 45 towards Film Nagar will be restricted. A QR code at the park entrance will collect feedback from commuters. The police have urged visitors to park only in designated bays and not drive on the wrong side.
