The appeal followed an emergency general body meeting on August 6 to discuss recent enforcement drives. The association said alleged adulteration and other malpractices had been noticed in Mailardevpally, Katedan, Barkas and Balapur. It said offenders would face expulsion and be reported to the Hyderabad-Food Adulteration Surveillance Team. The body also urged members to follow the Food Safety and Standards Act, FSSAI rules, hygiene requirements and labelling standards.
