# Hyderabad to become high-speed rail hub, says Vaishnaw

Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw met a Telangana delegation on July 30 and confirmed the Detailed Project Report for the Adilabad, Armur new rail line is complete, awaiting administrative approval. He also announced plans to develop Hyderabad as a major high-speed rail hub, with key stations located in the city centre. Congress MPs from Telangana separately met Vaishnaw and discussed the proposed Ramagundam, Manuguru railway line, estimated at Rs 4,000 crore. The minister said work on that line is progressing rapidly. MPs also raised delays in sanctioned ROBs and FOBs in Peddapalli constituency and sought faster fund release.
