The move expands ICF’s indigenous trainset work beyond passenger services. ICF has completed production drawings for the indigenous 24-car Vande Bharat Sleeper trainset, with production expected to start shortly. Its Amrit Bharat Version 3.0 will include air-conditioned, general and sleeper coaches. The factory has also introduced a 15-car EMU rake for Mumbai suburban services and non-AC EMU coaches with automatic sliding doors.
