# IIT Madras startup Solinas Integrity raises $5.5 million

IIT Madras incubated robotics company Solinas Integrity has raised $5.5 million, or about Rs 52.4 crore, in a Series A1 round led by Hero Enterprise Partner Ventures and co-led by Mela Ventures. Luthra Group, SBI Ventures’ SVL-SME Fund, Rainmatter and 8X Ventures Fund I also participated. The Chennai-based company develops robotic and AI systems to inspect, clean and digitise underground water and wastewater infrastructure, including pipelines, manholes and septic tanks. Solinas will use the funds to expand manufacturing, develop products, strengthen software and grow sales across India and overseas. It plans to enter more states and municipal corporations, with a focus on the Middle East and Southeast Asia. The company is also exploring oil and gas and defence applications. It is targeting Rs 100 crore in revenue by financial year 2028.
