The Indian men's hockey team plays England in its second Pool D match at the FIH Hockey World Cup 2026 on Monday at the Wagener Hockey Stadium in Amstelveen, Netherlands. India began the tournament with a 3-1 win over Wales, while England beat Pakistan 4-1 in its opener. The match starts at 6:30 PM IST. Sportstar reports that India has not beaten England in a men's Hockey World Cup since 1994, when a 1-0 win in Sydney secured fifth place. Since then, England has won four straight World Cup meetings, most recently a 2-1 win in 2014, and the sides drew 0-0 at the 2023 World Cup. England is ranked third in the world. The Pool D result will affect the knockout stage route. Live telecast is on Star Sports Select 2, Star Sports Khel, and DD Sports. Live streaming is available on JioHotstar.
