The film follows Arlequino, a cheerful clown, and Pierrot, a sad clown, whose circus journey changes when Pierrot leaves during a performance. The film adapts the graphic novel by Israeli artist Revital Bronshtein, known as Navy Bird, who was killed by terrorists in October 2024 aged 24. Her mother helped bring the project to completion. Director Anan Gibson said the film honours Bronshtein’s artistic voice.
