# India, Saudi Arabia discuss tech link for Haj 2027

Srivatsa Krishna, Secretary of the Ministry of Minority Affairs, met Saudi Deputy Minister Abdulaziz Al Mathami in Jeddah on Sunday to discuss integrating Indian and Saudi Haj portals using emerging technologies. The meeting aimed to streamline services and coordination for Indian pilgrims. The Indian delegation also held talks with other Saudi officials on accommodation, transport, and medical services for Haj 2027. Earlier, Krishna met the Vice Minister for Haj and Umrah and the Vice Minister of Transport. Both sides reaffirmed commitment to a smooth pilgrimage.
