# India successfully tests nuclear-capable Agni-4 missile in Odisha

India conducted a successful user trial of the nuclear-capable Agni-4 medium-range ballistic missile from the Integrated Test Range in Chandipur, Odisha, on Wednesday, the Ministry of Defence said. Conducted under the Strategic Forces Command, the trial validated all operational and technical parameters and was part of a routine check of reliability and readiness. The missile has a strike range of around 4,000 km, a two-stage solid propulsion system and a Ring Laser Gyro-based navigation system. It is road-mobile and canister-launched. Radars, telemetry systems and electro-optical stations tracked the flight, while DRDO scientists and Strategic Forces Command officials monitored the test.
