Police had earlier arrested Alfaz Khan in the case and are questioning Mansoori about suppliers, buyers and others involved. In a separate case, Hira Nagar police arrested Aniket Barbele after allegedly recovering 10.28 grams of brown sugar worth Rs 1.30 lakh. Both cases were registered under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act. The Free Press Journal reports that Indore Crime Branch registered 54 NDPS cases and arrested 116 accused from January 1, 2026. Police said they seized drugs, weapons, vehicles and other property valued at about Rs 2.96 crore during these operations.
