Corroboration: 2 independent outlets

Infinix’s GT 50 Pro went on sale in India on 30 October at ₹69,999 for the single 12GB/256GB configuration. The phone is available on Flipkart and Infinix’s own store, with a bank discount of up to ₹5,000 and a free speaker worth ₹5,999, bringing the effective price to ₹64,999. The Indian model uses the same MediaTek Dimensity 8400 Ultimate chip, 6.78-inch 144Hz AMOLED display and 6,500mAh battery as global versions, but lacks a 512GB storage option available abroad. Memeburn reports that at 26 October exchange rates, the Indian price works out to $736, while the same phone launched in Indonesia in April at the equivalent of $359. The launch price is also 2.6 times the GT 30 Pro’s ₹26,999 in June 2025, and roughly double the ₹35,000 expected by Indian tech sites. Gadgets360 reported the sale without any cross-market price comparison.

## Indian Opinion Analysis

Both memeburn.com and gadgets360.com cover the Infinix GT 50 Pro sale, but their framing diverges sharply. Memeburn leads with the ₹69,999 Indian price, converts it to $736, and contrasts it with Indonesia's $359 launch, India's own GT 30 Pro at $284, and market expectations of ₹35,000, a gap of roughly double. It omits the phone's core specs entirely, foregrounding a price-disparity narrative. Gadgets360, by contrast, leads with availability and lists the display, chipset, shoulder triggers and cooling system before mentioning the price once, without any cross-market or historical comparison. Neither outlet states Infinix's pricing rationale. A balanced reading acknowledges the factual price difference but notes that gadgets360's neutral spec-lead report treats ₹69,999 as a standard launch price, while memeburn’s article is a single-issue price-gap analysis. The only concrete next step was the first sale on 30 October, which both sources confirm has now occurred.
