# Sai Sudharsan out of SL Tests with stress fracture

Indian batter B. Sai Sudharsan has been ruled out of the Test series against Sri Lanka due to a toe stress fracture, Cricinfo reports. The 23-year-old left-hander, who has played three ODIs, was expected to be part of the squad for the two-Test series starting later this month. The injury leaves the selectors with a vacancy in the middle order. Sudharsan sustained the injury during domestic cricket. He has not yet made his Test debut. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) medical team is monitoring his recovery. No replacement has been named yet.
