# iPhone 18 Pro likely in September, 18e may get 9GB RAM

Apple's iPhone 18 Pro series is expected to launch between 7 and 9 September, according to rumour reports. The Pro models may feature a 2nm A20 Pro chip, variable aperture main camera, larger batteries (up to 5,567mAh in the Pro Max) and a smaller Dynamic Island. The vanilla iPhone 18, iPhone 18e and second-generation iPhone Air are reportedly pushed to early 2027. Meanwhile, analysts Jeff Pu and Ming-Chi Kuo suggest the iPhone 18e could get a 9GB RAM upgrade to improve on-device Apple Intelligence, despite rising DRAM prices. The iPhone 18e is expected to retain a 6.1-inch OLED 60Hz display, single 48MP rear camera and Apple's A20 chip on TSMC's 2nm process.
